Meet Ian, Puppy Raiser.

“A year in your life is a lifetime of happiness for someone with low vision or blindness.”

Ian has been puppy raising for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT for five years. All of Ian’s pups have gone on to have fulfilling careers and help people with low vision or blindness to live life independently. Weston was Ian’s first puppy, and he has gone on to be the life-changing companion Ian knew he would be.

Weston graduated to become a Therapy Dog and has provided his Handler with freedom, independence and companionship to live life their way.

It was a tough journey, but seeing this change in quality of life was worth it for Ian.

Meet Margaret, Puppy Raiser.

Margaret has been raising our very special pups for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT for 20 years! Granger was a very special pup raised by Margaret who became the amazing dog Margaret knew he would be and graduated to be a Therapy Dog.

It was a tough journey, but witnessing his life-changing companionship was worth it for Margaret.
