Therapy Dog Awareness Month 2026: Court Dog Sunny
To celebrate Therapy Dog Awareness Month, we’re sharing the incredible impact our Court Dogs Sunny, Lani and Molly are making one year on.
One year on, we’re checking in with Sunny and sharing how she is settling into her important role as a Court Dog in the National Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the The Law Society of NSW Court Dog Program.
Sunny has become known for her social nature and the way she loves meeting and greeting everyone around her. She is gentle, patient and especially sweet with children, often choosing to sit close by, or even right on someone’s feet, to offer quiet reassurance.
She may not be snoring just yet, but Sunny’s funny little moans and groans have become part of what makes her so loved. A year on, she continues to show how powerful a calm, friendly presence can be during challenging moments.
