Who let the dogs out?!

It was the Connections Team, as monthly Unharnessed events unfolded in Newcastle and St Clair in Western Sydney in July, August and September. The dogs had a fantastic time off leash in a safe enclosed space where they were able to socialise with other Guide Dogs. Our Handlers also had the opportunity to practice some of their training with their Guide Dogs, including free running and recall skills. The fun didn’t end there, with some participants continuing to the nearby pub and cafe for a cuppa, a bite to eat and extended social session with other local Guide Dog Handlers. 

Unharnessed is coming up in these areas: 

• Newcastle: Monday 21 October at 10am. 
• St Clair in Western Sydney: Tuesday 5 November at 10 am.
