Guide Dogs Stand Up Paddleboard Beach Party

Who is this for?

Guide Dogs clients, 5-21 years and their siblings are welcome.  Parents and carers, let us know if you can stay and be part of the action when you RSVP!

We support inclusion of participants of all abilities, get in touch to discuss how we can support you.

What’s included?

The day includes a SUP lesson, SUP Yoga, SUP ball, SUP Life Saver Water Safety Tips and beach games.

When is it?

Due to the recent weather conditions, the date has been rescheduled to Thursday 23rd January 2020, 10am – 3pm

Where is it?

Ettalong Beach, opposite the Mantra.  There are lots of cafes nearby!

How to get there?

Join Guide Dogs staff on the express intercity train departing from Newscastle Interchange, limited stops on the Central Coast, arriving to Woy Woy and return (see below for train details!) and transfers to and from Ettalong Beach.

Why would I want to go?

Slip, slop and slap and be prepared for an action packed day to end the summer holidays with your friends!!

Wear your rashie, boardies, hat and sunscreen, bring a towel and change of clothes, plenty of food and water, and your Opal card/VIP pass.  Gain some train travel confidence along the way!!

The all important train details!

Guide Dogs staff will be comandeering an ‘Ettalong Express’ carriage to get everyone down to Woy Woy, commencing from the Newcastle Interchange.

We will then be transferred to Ettalong Beach (and return)

The intercity train departs from Newcastle Interchange at 8.24am, Platform 2

Clients will be supported on both legs of the journey
