Supporting Independence – Service Information Sessions 2023

Are you:

  • starting high school in 2024?
  • planning to move house?
  • thinking of a new workplace?

No matter what new environment you’re thinking or planning to go to, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT services are here to support you.

The first information session for 2023 will be held on Thursday 27 April at 12.30 pm and will explore the support orientation and mobility training can play in life transitions such as moving schools, higher education, workplace, living arrangements, or a new local area.

Guide Dogs NSW/ACT runs information sessions throughout the year so Clients, families and supports can gain more information about services and how they can be accessed to achieve your goals.

These short thirty minute information sessions are delivered via zoom and aim to give a general snapshot of services or types of equipment that may support your independence. At the conclusion of each information session there will be an opportunity to ask questions and make a referral to explore more information about the goal you would like to achieve.

To learn more about these sessions or express interest in joining please contact us via phone on 1800 436 364 or email services@guidedogs.com.au.
