Pride History Walking Tour in Sydney

Location
Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

About the event

We are excited to announce we are offering a Pride History Walking Tour with audio description specifically for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Clients – in Sydney on Saturday 27 February 2021, from 2.30pm.

This is a great way for Guide Dogs Clients to still celebrate this year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras season, despite changes to the traditional event due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The tour will begin in Darlinghurst, and take participants through the history of the Golden Mile and Sydney’s iconic Oxford St Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras scene. The walking tour will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete, finishing at Hyde Park at around 5pm.

Dress-ups are encouraged and the Mardi Gras spirit is welcome!

Independent travel to and from event venue is required. You are welcome to bring your preferred mobility aid.

We are seeking expression of interest to attending this event, for Guide Dogs Clients plus one family member, friend or support person.

Places are limited. You can secure your place or find out more by emailing connections@guidedogs.com.au or calling 02 9195 6104 and ask for Bowie Ng.
