Hello from the Assistive Technology Help Desk Team!
The GDN Assistive Technology (AT) Help Desk Team would like to wish readers a happy new year and share a friendly reminder that the AT Help Desk is open from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm Monday to Friday. This service is useful if you have a quick assistive technology query, the Team can give you a 15-minute session on the spot to help you troubleshoot a tricky issue, and discuss new technologies or training needs.
The AT Help Desk is now on a new phone system which is operating more efficiently and effectively than before. To reach the AT Help Desk, call 1800 436 364 and select or say option four.
Please note that if our Assistive Technology Specialist is already on a call, we won’t be able to pick up straight away. You can choose to hold, or leave a voicemail with your name and phone number so we can get back to you as soon as possible. You can also leave a voicemail if you call out of operating hours and one of our team will call you back between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm the next business day. If you need a call back at a specific time, specify this in your voicemail and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
