Meet our first litter of puppies for 2024!

Norma recently became the proud mother of three charming black puppies on 7 January, our first puppy litter of 2024.

The trio, who are just three weeks old, is already capturing hearts as they begin to open their eyes and start to explore!

In the tradition of Guide Dog litters, each puppy is given a name that starts with the same letter, and Norma’s little ones are no exception. The C litter consists of one female and two male pups, and their names are as delightful as they are cute: Cosmo, Chico and Clara.

“Norma is an absolute natural at looking after her three little pups and has been really attentive. The pups are just three weeks old but starting to explore the sights, sounds and smells of the world around them.” Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Whelping Adviser Leah Willet said.

This special new litter were also recently featured on Channel Nine news.

The trio’s journey has just begun and we look forward to the day when Cosmo, Chico and Clara fulfill their destinies as Guide Dogs (or Therapy Dogs), providing assistance, companionship and love to those who need them most.
