Play a unique role in a Guide Dog’s story

August 16, 2019
Latest graduating class of 2019 Guide Dogs

These extraordinary dogs have passed their training and are ready to transform lives!

Among the graduates is the magnificent Harry B (pictured second from the right), whose breeding, care and training was personally funded by supporters Ron and Louise of Sydney.

Motivated by a personal connection to Guide Dogs and a deep admiration for our work, they contributed $35,000 to become Guide Dog Partners.  They chose Harry B as a pup, named him, and have stayed close to him throughout his training.

Ron named Harry B in honour of his father, who had significant low vision later in his life and was himself supported by Guide Dogs’ services.

Despite his loss of sight, the human Harry B lived a full and very successful life.

Harry B the Guide Dog is an attentive and skilled dog who laps up positive reinforcement.  We have no doubt he will do his namesake proud.

Guide Dog Partners enjoy exclusive puppy naming rights, personal visits with their puppy, progress reports, a photo album of the dog as it grows and VIP invitations to the dog’s graduation event.

Guide Dog Partner donation options start at $15,000.
