Seek and Snap!

Hi! I’m Gulliver, the Guide Dog and Chief Detective here at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT! I recently had help from Donation Dog detectives to track down my litter mates.

Thank you for helping Detective Gulliver find his littermates.

Let’s give a round of applause to the best Donation Dog Detectives who assisted Detective Gulliver in his search for his littermates!

First Prize for most locations visited is:

  • Peter Young
  • Rebecca Edwards

As a way to say thank you Detective Gulliver has invited them down to tour the Guide Dogs Centre and meet our adorable puppies.

Second prize for sharing the most memorable story is:

  • Kerry-Ann Weirick

Detective Gulliver was truly inspired by her memory of visiting our Donation Dogs as a child “riding it as a very small child until mum explained it and removed me so as to not damage the dog,” and received a Coles voucher as a thank you.

As a way to say thank you, Detective Gulliver gave Cooper a Coles Voucher and Laura a Tokyo Lamington lamington-making master class.

About the Seek and Snap competition.

Seek and Snap was a FREE opportunity to get out and get active this school holidays, with prizes to be won for a lucky few participants. 

As a Donation Dog detective, they were on the hunt to seek and snap as many photos of our iconic Donation Dogs as they could. Upload their photos, share their stories, and go in the draw to win some fantastic prizes, including the opportunity to tour the Guide Dogs Centre and meet some of our cute puppies.

Why did they join?

If you chose to accept this mission, we had paw-some prizes for the best detectives.

The prizes up to grab and what they needed to do to win them are:

  • Taking photographs with or of Donation Dogs at the largest number of participating Donation Dog host locations, will win a trip to the Guide Dogs Centre.
  • Sharing the most creative or impactful memory you have of Donation Dogs (which will be voted on by Guide Dogs NSW/ACT staff), will win a lamington making master class with Tokyo Lamington.
  • Capturing and submitting the most creative photograph with, or of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Donation Dogs (which will be voted on by Guide Dogs NSW/ACT staff) will win a $200 Coles Gift Voucher.
