SeeWay: Practical support for every stage of your low vision journey.
Around 61,000 Australians live with permanent low vision (Nous research, 2020), many of whom do not qualify for traditional funding supports. This number is expected to grow significantly with Australia’s ageing population.
SeeWay was created by Guide Dogs NSW/ACT to meet this growing, urgent need. For more than 60 years, Guide Dogs has been by the side of Australians with low vision, helping people of all ages live confidently, independently and safely.
SeeWay is the next chapter in this legacy, dedicated to supporting people living with low vision earlier and more holistically. Research shows that getting support early in your low vision journey can lead to improved emotional, practical and long-term wellbeing outcomes.
As the first national holistic care platform designed specifically for people with permanent low vision, SeeWay offers a compassionate and empowering approach, one that helps bridge the wellbeing gap as you navigate all stages of vision changes.
SeeWay has three pillars of support.

- Open to any Australians with low vision and their loved ones.
- Fully subsidised support with no out-of-pocket costs (when accessed with a GP referral).
- Flexible access through telehealth sessions from anywhere in the country.
