About the program

Attending court can be a stressful and confronting event for many people. The Canine Court Companion Program and the ACT Court Canine Support Program are both designed to support victims of crime if they are required to attend court.

Both Programs involve a carefully selected and trained Therapy Dog and Handler team, who provide a sense of calm and companionship to ease the stress of visiting court. The Programs are available in both New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
