Maximise your independence.

Empowering our youngest advocates.

“One of the misconceptions or stereotypes that I find day to day is people think I’m incapable of doing daily tasks. It’s the barriers in society with a lack of accessibility that makes things challenging for us, rather than the disability.”

Today’s students are tomorrow’s change makers, so learning about inclusion and advocacy for people who have low vision or blindness is crucial to strive towards a world in which everyone can participate equally.

Fundraise for Guide Dogs your way.

At Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, we empower people with low vision or blindness to live with confidence, independence, and freedom. We provide expertise and services to our Clients including assisting them to master new routes with their cane and matching them with a life-changing Guide Dogs.

However, our work isn’t possible without your support.

As more than 80 percent of our funding comes from the community, we rely on generous individuals, schools, clubs, and workplaces across NSW and the ACT to help keep our vital services running.
