About the Graduate Diploma in Orientation and Mobility
The Graduate Diploma in Orientation and Mobility is a one-year postgraduate graduate diploma that has been designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and expertise to work as orientation and mobility specialists. Orientation and Mobility is the practice of enabling people with low vision or who are blind to know where they are, so that they can get where they want to go, and how to travel there in a safe manner.
The masterclass for the Graduate Diploma in Orientation and Mobility will be presented by Dr Sharon Oberstein, the Program Authority for the Graduate Diploma in Orientation and Mobility. She will provide an overview of the program subject matter. She will also explain how the program is delivered online through the use of online lectures, virtual classrooms and short videos, as well as the practical sessions and work integrated training offered in the student’s home state where possible.
